Call for Meaningful Change
Prime Minister Amarasuriya reaffirmed the government’s commitment to public expectations, stating that the last election mandate demands transformative action. She stressed that “Clean Sri Lanka” is not just about policy enforcement or legal frameworks, but also about cultivating positive behaviors and human relationships.
“The required change must start at an individual level. People must define the impact they wish to make in their own surroundings. Sensitivity and quality public service are essential to ensuring citizen satisfaction. True transformation cannot be achieved solely through official directives or circulars,” she stated.
The government remains dedicated to the program’s success by actively engaging all stakeholders in building a cleaner, more organized, and community-driven nation, she added.
