President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in his capacity as Minister of Finance, has issued an Extraordinary Gazette Notification lifting the temporary suspension on motor vehicle imports.
Effective from today (February 1), the importation of personal vehicles, buses for public transport, goods transport vehicles, and special-purpose vehicles is now permitted.
