The Ministry of Women and Child Affairs has decided to introduce a special certificate confirming that applicants have no allegations of crimes against children when recruiting for state service positions involving direct contact with children.
Minister of Women and Child Affairs Saroja Paulraj announced the decision during a media briefing at the Department of Government Information.
She said the relevant Cabinet paper proposing the measure has already been submitted.
