SriLankan Airlines has launched ‘Yaana’, an AI-powered chatbot designed to enhance customer support by handling passenger inquiries efficiently.
Integrating advanced artificial intelligence and natural language processing, Yaana can assist travelers with a wide range of queries. According to Dimuthu Tennakoon, Head of Worldwide Sales and Distribution, the chatbot has already processed nearly 12,000 inquiries, autonomously resolving 88% of them.
Developed in collaboration with CodeGen International, Yaana is now available on SriLankan Airlines’ corporate website. The chatbot supports multiple languages, including English, French, and Spanish, making it accessible to a diverse customer base.
This initiative marks a significant step in SriLankan Airlines’ commitment to digital innovation and improved passenger experience.
