The United National Party (UNP) and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) held their third round of discussions last evening (28) regarding a possible coalition for the upcoming Local Government Election.
Discussions reportedly focused on the perspectives of party leaders concerning preliminary proposals. The talks concluded successfully, and both parties are set to brief their respective leaders today on the outcomes.
Another round of discussions between the SJB and the UNP is scheduled for tomorrow night (30).
