The All Ceylon Poultry Traders’ Association has assured the public that there will be no shortage of chicken or eggs during the upcoming festive season.
Ajith Gunasekara, the association’s chairman, stated that adequate stocks are being released to the market in line with demand.
Currently, frozen chicken with skin is priced at less than Rs. 1,000 per kilogram, while eggs are being sold at prices ranging from Rs. 30 to Rs. 33 each.
