The Government Radiological Technologists Association reports that three out of the five radiation machines at Apeksha Hospital in Maharagama are currently out of order.
According to the association’s chairman, Chanaka Dharmawickrama, this has led to the daily disruption of radiation treatment for approximately 250 cancer patients.
He urged authorities to take immediate action to restore the machines and ensure uninterrupted treatment.
