Trump Announces Full Ceasefire Between India and Pakistan Following Cross-Border Strikes

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and immediate ceasefire” after both nations engaged in a series of strikes and counter-strikes on military installations.

“After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both countries on using common sense and great intelligence,” Trump stated on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The escalation followed a deadly attack in India’s Jammu and Kashmir territory, where terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists, killing 26 and injuring 17. In response, both sides launched retaliatory military actions, heightening regional tensions.
