President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed a high-level committee to conduct an in-depth study on potential challenges arising from the new reciprocal tariff system introduced by US President Donald Trump and to submit recommendations to the government.

Chairman of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka

Chairman of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board

Director General of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Additionally, the committee includes Senior Economic Advisor to the President Duminda Hulugamuwa, Chief Economic Policy Advisor to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Shiran Fernando, and industry leaders Ashroff Omar, Sherad Amalean, and Saif Jafferjee.
