Sri Lanka has been named the most family-friendly country in the world according to a new report by Remitly, as highlighted by Condé Nast Traveller.
The report, released in March 2025, evaluates 82 countries across 24 factors, including education quality, affordability, healthcare, and safety. Sri Lanka secured the top spot due to its strong education system (scoring 0.7 out of 1.0) and low annual childcare costs—only $354.60 per year, significantly lower than the U.S. ($16,439.40), which ranked 10th.
