A nightclub bouncer was injured following an altercation involving a group that arrived with Yoshitha Rajapaksa at a club on Park Street, Union Place.
According to police reports, Yoshitha Rajapaksa, his wife, and others in their group visited the nightclub early morning (22nd). Security personnel requested them to wear identification wristbands as part of the club’s entry policy. However, the group allegedly refused, leading to a confrontation that escalated into physical violence.
The injured bouncer is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo. The Kompannavidiya Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
