Rs. 90 Billion Allocated in 2025 Budget for Public Sector Salary Hike – Minister Wijepala

Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala announced that Rs. 90 billion has been allocated from the 2025 Budget to increase the salaries of public sector employees.

Speaking at an event in Thambuttegama, Wijepala assured that several measures would be implemented soon to bring transformative changes to the public service.
