The Department of Meteorology has forecasted a few showers in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, and Uva provinces.
Additionally, showers or thundershowers may develop in a few locations in the Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces during the afternoon or night.
Elsewhere, mainly fair weather conditions are expected to prevail.
Misty conditions are likely in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and Uva provinces, as well as the Kurunegala district, during the morning hours.
The public is advised to take necessary precautions to mitigate potential damages caused by temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
